As Christians we believe

Holy Scriptures, the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments tell us about God and ourselves. They are God-breathed, without error in its original writings, and the ultimate authority in faith and life. (Psalm 119:105, 2 Tim. 3:16)

One God exists in three Persons, equal in power and glory: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9, 1 Peter 1:1-2)

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. (John 1:1, Hebrews 1:3, Philippians 2: 5-11)

All have sinned. Man was created in the image of God. Adam, representing all humanity, sinned against God, bringing physical and spiritual death to all. We inherit the sin nature from Adam’s fall. Because of sin, we are separated from God. (Romans 3:23, Romans 5;12, Ephesians 2:1)

Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, taking the punishment owed to us alone. All who believe in Him are pronounced right before God by His shed blood. (John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)

Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. He rules as High Priest and our Advocate. (Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 4:14-16)

Our Lord and Savior will return. (Acts 1:11)

All who repent of sin, confess and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior by the power Holy Spirit become children of God. (John 1:12, John 11:25-27)

All people will be judged by God: those who by faith trust in the finished work of Christ will be with him in glory, and those who do not will suffer eternal punishment. (Revelation 21: 5-8)

As a Reformed Church we believe

The Bible is the perfectly true Word of God and the only authority for all of life.

Salvation is 100% the work of God: the Father graciously chooses, the Son is the atoning sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit changes our hearts to respond to God’s call.

Faith alone, given by God, saves, and nothing in us attracts God’s favor-- only his own love for his people compels him.

Baptism is a sacrament for believers and also for their infant/young children.

The Lord’s Supper is a sacrament to be observed by baptized believers who humbly place their trust in Christ, are truly sorry for their sins, and by God’s help desire to lead a holy life in assurance of their salvation.

As a Presbyterian Church

We believe in the form of church government using presbyters (elders) assembled into courts. We hold three offices: minister, elder, and deacon. Each office contains elected men qualified by God’s Word, acceptable to the congregation and accountable to Christ, the Head of the Church.

The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms are faithful summaries of the teachings of the Bible.

We wholeheartedly embrace the historic Christian faith expressed in the ecumenical creeds of the universal church (e.g. the Apostles' & Nicene Creeds).
